Frangipani
Plumeria alba

Frangipani absolute (Plumeria spp.) is a complex floral material characterised by benzyl salicylate, geraniol, linalool, and farnesol as major constituents. It lacks a true steam-distilled essential oil and is typically obtained by solvent extraction or enfleurage. The absolute's compounds have demonstrated mild antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity, and farnesol is a well-known quorum-sensing inhibitor.[1]
